We've got all the windows open for covid reasons, and an unexpected development of this is robins are flying in and out, all day long, like the library is some sort of airport departure lounge, for birds. twitter.com/i/moments/1358…

Happy Empathy Day to everyone! Here's a pile of the Guppy titles so far - all of them books for children (and adults) encouraging empathy and kindness and that celebrating the joy of working together. All needed now more than ever. 🧡

@AmbassadorSLG I have a very nice budget! In previous years I also received extra funding from the governors for special projects like a complete re-furb of the carpets/walls/ furniture and special collections like the manga and graphics. We have been very lucky.
