3/4 The award ceremony took place today at The Cambridge Theatre aka 'The Matilda Theatre' (because @MatildaMusical seems to have pretty much taken up residence there). As Lifetime Ambassador to the School Libraries Group of CILIP...

1/4 It seems fitting that a sitting Children's @UKLaureate should win the coveted Carnegie 2024, and that's exactly what @JosephACoelho has done, with his Theseus-based novel-in-verse, 'The Boy Lost in the Maze'. Incredibly, he's the first black person to win a Carnegie medal.

Congratulations, @EmmaJGrey and the three other finalists for Scotland's Library & Information Professional of the Year. Good luck one and all! @CILIPinfo

It’s my last day at my current school today. I’ve made some great friends but many of these have also moved on. Time to start a new chapter. It’s all for the students and they have touched my heart with their kindness this week.
