To get on the ballot as an independent or third-party candidate, you have to petition the public in a world that is predominantly privatized, and where even public spaces are ruled and regulated by your opposition. This is neither democratic, nor a founding principle of our republic, yet the parties that enforce these restrictions claim such in their names.

Reposting this as my response to the recent news regarding student loans. We need real solutions for the debt crisis in America, and here is my proposal, the Debt First Policy. To keep it brief: - Cut the income tax bottom-up to allow people to pay off their own debt, save, invest, or spend. - Any income tax a person does pay goes directly towards the principal on their outstanding debt to the government until it is paid in full.

This is my latest policy idea, which utilizes a bottom-up income tax cut to help Americans get out of debt. Until we pass a bottom-up income tax cut, revenue collected from a person’s taxable income should be directly applied to the principal of their outstanding debt with the government until all debts are paid. (housing/business/student loans, etc.) Not to mention that once a bottom-up income tax cut is implemented, relief for non-governmental debt will also be available through tax relief, for people will have more money to pay off their credit cards, mortgages, auto loans, etc. By taking this approach, those with debt will receive relief, and those without debt will also benefit. This is the true path of forgiveness, not garnishing wages or increasing taxes on your neighbor.

Regenerative farms are currently struggling due to issues which include but are not limited to a lack of capital and long-term investors, a lack of insurance, overregulation on a local and state level, restrictions on native plants that are deemed "nuisances" or "pests" by the state, and the lack of education regarding regenerative agriculture. I support regenerative agriculture practices, pollinator conscious farming, and will embrace the development of community gardens. I will aim to make such practices more accessible, affordable, and profitable for the health and wellbeing of our communities. Passionate about local farms, regenerative agriculture, and clean food? I need your help drafting policies to advance these efforts not just in Illinois, but also across the nation as well. Policy suggestions are welcome as long as they: 1) Do not increase government. 2) Do not make wealth inequality worse.
