#wheat at a 5 year low. #cotton at a contract low- and in danger of testing the April 2025 5 year low if we don't stop the bleeding here.

Brazil's soybean acreage is expected to expand again in 25/26 by 3.6% to over 121M/ac with the largest % increases coming from northern states. 🌱

Weekend thoughts ! Where would #cotton prices be trading if we wouldn't have know on call purchases are all time high 110 k plus ? Dec25 at 64 k on call purchases v/s 19 k on call sales

@Macr00s @OAcotton @billcrowder13 Brazil crop almost doubled from 2018 to 2025 and has potential to increase ahead. Supply increase hasn't been compensated by increase in demand. Fundamentally either dmemad has to increase or price has to decrease .

Crop year 2025-26 is the year when Brazil & Indian cotton will compete for export share, While US cotton will sit on the sidelines….. US cotton Ending stock > 5.0M+ bales….. Unless and until ICE drops below 60??? @OAcotton , @billcrowder13

Cotton prices as of 941 am central time August 1 2025. And yes THEY REALLY SUCK NOW. Losing our industry in america. Gonna die a slow death in my opinion. Our infrastructure is going away. Brazil is kicking our backsides and adding more acres every year. Demand sucks for USA cotton.

Wow cotton is green on Sunday night after all the tariffs that came out this past week and yesterday. Cotton prices as of 826 pm central time on Sunday night July 13, 2025. Let’s hope we hold up overnight. Maybe market knows of a big cotton trade deal. lol

Cotton: with todays shipments, cotton exports now almost 850k bales ahead of USDA estimates. How much of an adjustment will the USDA make tomorrow?

Cotton: Net sales of Upland totaling 27,300 RB for 2024/2025 were down 67 percent from the previous week and 71 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Pakistan (9,200 RB), Vietnam (7,700 RB, including 1,600 RB switched from Malaysia and decreases of 3,600 RB), Japan (2,500 RB), Indonesia (2,400 RB), and Bangladesh (2,300 RB), were offset by reductions for Malaysia (1,600 RB). Net sales of 64,700 RB for 2025/2026 were primarily for Vietnam (34,300 RB), El Salvador (15,300 RB), Malaysia (8,000 RB), Japan (3,400 RB), and Thailand (2,300 RB). Exports of 184,500 RB were down 10 percent from the previous week and 29 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Turkey (41,300 RB), Vietnam (36,400 RB), Pakistan (17,800 RB), Bangladesh (15,100 RB), and Mexico (12,000 RB). Net sales of Pima totaling 1,800 RB for 2024/2025 were down noticeably from the previous week, but up 65 percent from the prior 4-week average. Cotton sale/auction more than 100 k Mt / 600 k bales sold in last 2 days . More than 100 days till new crop arrives, new crop msp will be 7% higher .

@billcrowder13 Last crop year must have been lowest move in average price . Most of days of last crop year futures traded between 64 cents - 69 cents. What happens next year ?
