So if he is disbelieving, there is no way to get to his competent zombie point. So either the article fundamentally doesnt work or dawkins thinks claude

by far the stupidest and most repugnant delusion an instructor can have is to pretend that pointless rule-following around deadlines benefits the student and teaches them time-management skills or something. you're not a cop or a judge. just grant the goddam extension.

@CouldNeverBeMe @s8mb His point is that if you don't need consciousness to appear conscious, then what's the point of consciousness. In effect he's saying that Claude isn't conscious despite appearing to be.
