@ejmatthew @fire_scot Yes, in my opinion more should be done across the country to stop our beautiful historic buildings from getting into this state.

@CouncillorEmma @fire_scot I do feel - not that this is in the scope of the council - that neglect of historic buildings until they must be demolished should be punished by forfeit of the land to the Local Authority.

I am disappointed to see there has been another fire at the old convent in Dumfries. Thank you to all our emergency services who attended.

@ejmatthew Yes, I believe the fire is out, but the advice from @fire_scot is to stay away from the surrounding area for now.
