Karen Kabweru-Namulemu appeared for the appellant, and Janet Bazley KC and Luke Eaton appeared for the 2nd respondent (pro bono). The Court of Appeal determined who bears the burden of proof on an application for a declaration of parentage (and the intersection with the HFEA 2008).
