"Please say a prayer for this innocent woman’s family," Trump wrote, as if he cares one bit about the deceased's loved ones. He amplified their pain a thousandfold just by sharing the footage. Of course, a worsening lack of self control is a hallmark sign of certain forms of cognitive decline, particularly certain types of dementia. “This week, I trapped my first feral cat and had her spayed on Wednesday 🎉. The clinic estimated she’s around four months old and advised that she could be safely released the day after surgery. I haven’t been able to bring myself to release her yet. The guilt of putting her back outside weighs heavily on me. Because she’s still young and occasionally allows me to pet her, I keep questioning whether I should try to socialize her instead. Logically, I know that returning her to her outdoor environment may be the most appropriate choice. But emotionally, it’s incredibly hard. The idea that she might miss out on the warmth, safety, and affection of an indoor life breaks my heart. I truly want to do what’s best for her, even if it’s not what feels easiest for me.
