This is a very weak sentence for a murder conviction after trial. 15-life is the mandatory minimum. 25-life is the maximum. Anything under 20 is an utter disappointment to say the least. He'll be back out to kill again by his early 40s. Well done, Monroe County!

An attempted murder trial is expected to be rescheduled tomorrow in the cases of Nasir Cannon and Amire Shiekh. Originally set to start tomorrow, it had to be postponed after at least one police witness in the case remains in the hospital after being shot just before Christmas.
