@TripeHunter2025 @DanNeidle Ireland is a good example on that list as it’s a recent cut. fiscalcouncil.ie/vat-rate-chang… They found, in a shock to no one, businesses in the hospitality sector are more likely to pass on VAT increases to consumers while keeping a higher proportion of VAT reductions.

The hospitality industry wants their VAT cut to 10%. It will cost £12bn Who benefits? ❌ The smallest most vulnerable businesses? Nope. 45% get nothing. ❌ Consumers? Nope - prices won't fall. ✅ Nearly half the cash goes straight to large chains. McDonald's gets £400m. 🧵:

Premier Sports to relaunch in the UK from April 9 after acquiring Viaplay. So, from the next round, all @URCOfficial matches will be broadcast in the UK on Premier Sports. Viaplay customers will automatically transfer to Premier Sports. New streaming service.

Gritty win. Played like shit for most of it, made worse by playing the best turnover side in the league with all of their internationals back. Even then, should have been more comfortable. A 95m intercept made it more tense than it needed to be.

@threeredkings I watch Bedford live regularly now , and - as well as a good Munster connection- it’s a hard physical contest always. @seanfrench8 cutting it up regularly

One thing I've noticed is players (forwards in particular) who come out of the championship are all tough as fuck, hard-nosed basics-first guys. Always a role for these players.
