We have thousands of patriots still working at @DHSgov right now through the Democrat shutdown. My bill, the Prevent Government Shutdowns Act, would stop government shutdowns for good. We need to pass this bill so federal workers never have to go through this again.

Chickasha is what happens when a community dreams big and gets to work. 💡🔥 The Leg Lamp is more than a landmark. It’s a symbol of the renaissance this city is enjoying. Honored to meet with city leaders and hear how they invested in themselves. 💪🏙️ Also grateful for my friend Ryan Posey giving me a tour of his manufacturing business, HSI. 🏭🤝 #OklahomaFirst #Chickasha #RuralRevival #LeadershipMatters #TeamTDub #JustGettingStarted

Chickasha showed up strong! 💪 Had a great time at the Grady County Lt. Governor forum listening to Oklahomans and making the case for why I’m ready to serve. Let’s go! 🚀 #TeamTDub #JustGettingStarted #OklahomaFirst 🇺🇸

I couldn’t agree more… — the idea that America is “broken” is simply not true. Most Americans aren’t shouting on social media or fighting over politics. They’re working hard, raising families, helping neighbors, volunteering, and giving to charity. The loudest voices online don’t represent the majority — real America is made up of decent, caring people who quietly do the right thing every day. Don’t believe the noise — trust what you see in your own community.

Louder for the folks in the back…tourism is economic development. “The National Travel Center found that a byway can feasibly generate between $250,000 and $450,000 per mile per year in visitor spending when it features heritage and cultural locations, offers visitors plenty of places to visit and opportunities to spend money…and is well-promoted.”oklahomaroute66.com/news/kc-fed-by…

Packed house for opening night of the new “Route 66: From Trails to Truckstops" Exhibit at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. A century ago, R66 helped knit together a young, restless nation. A century later, it might help remind us that we’re still one. Go visit.

Tourism is at an all-time high in the small city of Chickasha, Oklahoma — and local leaders and business owners are crediting an homage to the leg lamp from “A Christmas Story” with helping to make their home a year-round destination.
