The PVP madness is rotating back to the PPP season. The golden bull run for the meme coins is not far away! Earlier this month we witnessed a brutal bear trap that caused the whole market to bleed relentlessly. The memes took the most damage and trench warriors went balls deep in Pump Fun launches, every single day thousands of new meme coins were launched, causing mass dilution. The old memes also paid the price, some of them retraced more than 90%. Now, Bitcoin trading over $66k, Donald Trump's survival from a vicious assassination attempt, Joe Biden stepping down as a presidential candidate, and the liquidity shifting back to market are the signs of relief, but there's something different happening this time. Degens are slowly changing the direction of their investments into the old memes that are being run by the community (CTO). You may ask why. I've been observing the space for the past couple of months and here is what I've noticed so far: The rise of the CTO narrative: The investors are tired of putting money into projects that are lead by shady developers. Most of the meme launches are usually retraced back 90% right after launch and one of the reasons is the developer dumping his/her tokens at the top, causing a bloodbath. That's where the community takes power and starts working for their bags. If executed successfully, these projects can easily go to millions. One of the best examples of this cause is $POPCAT | @POPCATSOLANA, a project that recently passed the $1bn market cap, kicking doors open for other projects to go higher. The power of the community: Before investing in a project the smart money follows the ones with a diamond-handed community with the members still bull posting, keeping the vibes high, embracing the spirit of the project, and rocking their special PFPs all over the internet as if the project is still on an all-time high despite the price action. It's hard to hold a meme coin for months, especially when the price goes down and FUD starts circulating. But if you find one, hallelujah! It's your time to become a member of a family of heroes and start riding the project to new all-time highs. An established narrative with a strong product: This is one of the many reasons why a project becomes successful. If there's a narrative that can be adopted, it makes it much easier for investors to find a gimmick amongst many others who are supporting the cause. And if the narrative evolves throughout time, it's even better. Now let's take a look at some of the projects under my radar that fit the criteria above. $selfie | @SelfieDog_SOL Age: 74 days old What can we say? The dog is cute and taking selfies. The project skyrocketed to an ATH of $35.5mm less than a week after its launch. Then it retraced 98% and the bottom was in at $598k. The diamond-handed community didn't stop supporting what they believed in and built one of the most phenomenal communities that ever existed. selfie is now trading above $9.7mm and looking forward to reaching $100m in the future. $mini | @minigangsol Age: 86 days old One of the funniest-looking cat memes out there. The project hit an ATH of $30mm three weeks after its launch. Then it retraced 94% and the bottom was settled down at $1.9mm. It was interesting for me to see the FUD coming towards this lil cat from all four sides. But the community was not ready to give up and boom! In a blink of an eye, mini mooned to $37mm, now trading above $19.6mm $MUZKI | @Muzkicto Age: 74 days old The cat is cute and has a sword. The project hit an ATH of $11.1m mc a week after its launch. The brutal price action in the overall market caused a 99% retracement and the bottom was in at $88k mc. The strong MUZKI community didn't give up, they have been working for their bags hard and this didn't go unnoticed. The project is currently being traded above $549mc and I am expecting to see new highs soon. $OLUMPC | @OlumpcSOL Age: 100 DAYS OLD The first Olympics-themed meme coin on Solana. After a disastrous launch, the community immediately took over the project at an $11k mc and built a storyline collateral to the real-life Olympics activities. The CTO team produced a storyline of a torch bearer carrying the Olympic torch from Greece to Paris daily (you can read the whole story here: olumpecterch.xyz/relay ) They didn't stop with the storyline posts, they created +70 custom PFPs for their community and favorite people on the internet and +60 country stickers for Telegram. The project hit an ATH of $2.4mm 58 days after its launch and retraced 98% and found the bottom at $57k mc. But the community became even stronger and combined their strength with different workflows, preparing for the upcoming Olympics hype and beyond. It's now being traded above $174k mc. My sole purpose in preparing this thread was to bring attention to the change in the investment tendency in the overall meme coin space and some of my favorite projects that are still fighting back after enduring the hardest market conditions.
