Honey locust trees are one of the most fascinating examples of what scientists call an “evolutionary anachronism”, a trait that seems designed for animals that no longer exist.
Its dense clusters of enormous thorns, growing along the trunk and lower branches, are thought to have evolved during the Pleistocene epoch to protect the tree from bark damage caused by giant herbivores such as Mastodon and Giant ground sloth. While these prehistoric animals likely helped disperse the tree’s seeds by eating its sweet pods, they could also strip bark, break branches, and damage the tree as they fed. Though those Ice Age giants vanished thousands of years ago, the honey locust still carries its ancient armour today, a living reminder of a prehistoric world shaped by megafauna.

I don’t want this in my country. It’s a violation of the social contract.

@Motorrad127 @AtRealBen It's important. He has seen things nobody else could since he was young. He talked about gold dots swimming in the sky. He saw them collide and fall to the ground. He would pick them up and hand them to me. He is special. I believe his albino eyes see more than us.

@CoyWildfire612 @AtRealBen Might wanna leave out the albino part..

Small black flies with “a wicked bite” are swarming areas of the San Gabriel Valley in California
“They're attracted to your breath and the salty moisture of your eyes”
They target the eyes, “They are a vector for river blindness, which is a disease that you can transmit, but that's not something that we see here. It's mostly known in other parts of the world.
I don't want anything to bite my eyes, even if they don't transfer anything, you know that sounds pretty bad”
“Swarms are Abundant from Azusa to Altadena — Our residents are really struggling right now. They're overwhelmed with the amount of black flies”
These black flies have a 5 mile flight span and can live for up to 2 months
To prevent bites experts recommend deep insect repellent and a hat with a face net

Sycamore Knoll“
Off the coast of Malibu in California, in a place that researchers call the "Holy Grail", a large structure of unknown origin was discovered at a depth of over 100 meters. This structure is so huge that it is visible even from space.
(It gained widespread attention in 2014 through images on Google Earth. Okay, that was 12 years ago now, are there any new findings about it?)🤔
The object itself has a flat surface, about 5 km wide, which, as can be seen in the photo, is supported by column-like formations. These "pillars", which are over 150 meters high and are reminiscent of the ancient Greeks, were artificially created and have an open passage in their middle, which is supposed to lead to a door. However, despite intensive efforts, scientists could not find the entrance to this structure.
More Info👇
This is a well-known, controversial underwater anomaly called Sycamore Knoll, often referred to as the "Holy Grail" of UFO research. This structure is located approximately 6.6 miles (about 10.6 km) off the coast of Point Dume in Malibu, California, at a depth of over 2,000 feet (about 600 meters) and is visible on satellite imagery (Google Earth) as a large, flat, dome-shaped elevation.
Nature of the structure: The structure is interpreted by some as a UFO base or a secret military installation due to its unusual, almost perfect geometric shape visible from space.
Scientific view: Geologists officially describe Sycamore Knoll as a "pop-up structure" or bathymetric high located in the hanging wing of the Anacapa Dume Fault System.
Mysterious appearance: The area is often reported as "crossed out" or "blurred" on Google Earth, fueling speculation about a cover-up. Skeptics argue, however, that this is due to incomplete sonar data or digital rendering errors.
Accessibility: The structure is too deep for regular divers (2,000 feet) but would be accessible to submersibles.
Note: Because the findings are based on publicly available satellite imagery and interpretations from 2014–2025, claims about an extraterrestrial or secret base are speculative.🤔

@CherokeePhoenix I have proof that the White Wolf restaurant in the Cherokee casino has a base management of non natives that has systematically been firing natives. It's a group of 5 non tribal members that team up and lie on people they perceive as threats. I have contacted tero.
