@bryanrhoads We also sent an email to Oregon landlords informing them of the updated laws, with instructions on how to provide credits and turn off automatic late fees. We are disappointed and sorry to hear of any landlords using Cozy to add unnecessary stress to renters.

@bryanrhoads Hi Bryan, it sounds like there's confusion. We don't manage properties – we make tools for independent landlords to manage their own. Landlords can never automatically debit anything from tenants. Only payments scheduled by renters themselves can be processed.

@CozyCo Sooo, any plans to put out content, FAQs, or best practices on how to work with those renters landlords are collecting from? What if I want to offer my renters furlough? Or suspend their payment? Or work w/ them to delay payment?

@CozyCo I wish I knew you had to review the Landlords credit before they can review a tenants report. I would not have put a freeze on my credit. Now I have to wait 72 hours bwdore I can check again? This is more of an inconvenience than a service
