@Cpow589 @JasonC702 @Danlift I don’t see how that changes what I’m saying but ok. You have a good day as well.
English

Somewhere somehow @DanLifshatz is getting irrationally upset about this.
Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani@NYCMayor
Happy Tax Day, New York. We’re taxing the rich.
English

@Rickyh24 @JasonC702 @Danlift and I have been internet friends for years. Me tagging him goes back to a bet we made in January. Have a nice day Ricky!
English

@Cpow589 @JasonC702 You randomly tagged another guy because of his politics but are asking others why they care about other cities politics? 😂 brain dead lib.
English

@JasonC702 Yea, getting dressed to run a few miles through Central Park.
Why do you care about another cities politics? Is your life that boring?
English

@DanLifshatz I appreciate you perspective, just disagree I feel. Where you move too? SC? Hope all is well
English

@DanLifshatz A lot of the criticism I’ve seen that seems valid is that these billionaires will sell their homes and the real estate market will plummet. Which obviously has real effects on the whole economy and would affect me in other ways. I haven’t seen this take a lot just asking
English

@DanLifshatz How? This isn’t taxing landlords or rental units?
I’m honestly asking. If you know more about this please educate me I’d rather be informed about it.
English

@DanLifshatz Alright I was just asking a question as part of the discussion there’s no need to yell.
Fair point, do you mind explaining how you think that’ll affect me/ other average New Yorkers?
English

@Cpow589 Good god Chris.
The person who is PAYING THE TAX is going to want to make up their money on said tax. How do you get that money?!?!?
English

@DanLifshatz It’s only a tax on luxury second homes in NYC*
If you live here full time that tax doesn’t apply to you.
I’m confused on you last question. This tax will generate money for the city, what is there to make up?
English

@Cpow589 No its a tax for people who don't live in the state and own property
Again, how do you think they are going to make up for that tax money? Its not a complex concept
English

@DanLifshatz The tax is on residential units over 5 million dollars. It’s an extra tax for billionaires who own vacation homes in the city but don’t actually live in it.
I understand what you’re saying but don’t see how it applies to this pied a terre tax?
English

@Cpow589 The people who own those buildings have tenants or businesses
To make up for the lost revenue, housing & rental rates will continue to climb for everyone. You're a smart guy. You absolutely understand this
English

@Cpow589 I appreciate you not understanding how this is going to impact real estate prices. How do you think they're gonna make up for the lost revenue?
Lol
English

@TaxmanCPAMST @DanLifshatz I have zero debt, I live very comfortably in my one bedroom apartment (I rent yes).
English

@DanLifshatz @Cpow589 When you don’t owe anything and suffocating in debt it doesn’t matter. That guy can’t afford to pay attention nevermind afford to own a home.
English

@JohnnyBeest @DanLifshatz I’ve been retarded since I was 7. Tell me something I don’t know
English

@Cpow589 He is not.
He is in the south. Enjoy paying taxes!
English

@Real_Landlord7 @Metaleka_ Dumb as a box of rocks and a national champion* you forgot that last bit!
English

@Cpow589 @Metaleka_ Final 4.
You are as dumb as a box of rocks.
English

@Cpow589 @Metaleka_ They didn’t shoot well enough.
It’s not that deep.
English

@Real_Landlord7 @Metaleka_ What time do the Illini play tomorrow? Is it before or after Michigans game.
I think, if the Illini had more depth like you said they might face off again but whoops your seasons over.
So whoops.
