Don't underestimate blunt aortic injuries in young asymptomatic patients. Motor vehicle collision in 25M resulted in an abrupt/sharp aortic transection sparing adventitia. intima was approximated using interrupted sutures and aorta was patched with bovine pericardium. #AortaEd @MacVascular

My fellow @TungVu38 had this inverted graft idea which I’ve implemented for hemi arch replacements and found to be quite effective. Cuts 1 to 3 minutes of circ arrest times and fantastic hemostasis. Good addition to my earlier technique on @ctsnetorg
