I'm excited to announce the next addition to our @MidwestBBClub 17U Challenger Circuit squad: Adelaire Munieme is emerging as one of the more intriguing forward prospects in the Cincinnati/Dayton area for the class of 2027. Standing at 6'5", he's a lengthy, athletic wing/forward for Lakota East in the brutal Greater Miami Conference—widely regarded as one of the deepest and most physical leagues in Ohio high school basketball. He is super athletic and it's his time to shine and make a real statement. This kid can truly play, and once coaches, scouts, and fans get a good look at him in high-level action, his name is going to start circulating widely. He brings serious physical tools: explosive first step to attack closeouts, ability to finish above the rim through contact, and the wingspan/length to contest shots and rebound effectively on both ends. He is a tireless worker who never coasts, Adelaire defends multiple positions (1-5) with his combination of size, quickness, and instincts. He locks in on the details that separate good players from great ones at the next level—setting hard screens, constantly talking and directing traffic on defense, sprinting the floor in transition, crashing the glass, and doing whatever it takes to win possessions. His versatility as an inside-out threat adds real value: he can stretch the floor when needed, handle the ball in spots, and create mismatches with his power and athleticism. Battle-tested in one of the toughest conferences in the state, he's built for the grind and brings that high-character, team-first mentality college programs prioritize.   With his recent move to Midwest Basketball Club's 17U Challenger Circuit squad, I expect a huge AAU season where he showcases against elite national competition, followed by a monster senior year leading Lakota East in the GMC wars. This is the breakout window—watch him closely.
