@busterbNFT @unusual_whales You need to buy a house for your life to move forward? My life's moving forward just fine waiting the market out

@doodster0x @unusual_whales Not when prices doubled within a 5 year span. Home owners are whack if they think that was a sustainable increase.

@unusual_whales if you're young and don't own home, anytime is a good time to buy a house

@unusual_whales 67% have thought it's a bad time to buy for three years running. Prices haven't broken. Sidelined buyers don't crash housing. They tighten it.

@unusual_whales It's definitely a good time to buy a house right now because it's only going to get more and more and more expensive. The graph only goes up from here, folks.

.@laurenboebert needs to answer for why she was having sex with Thomas Massie 2 weeks after his wife died. Imagine letting a Pinecone convince you to campaign with Swastika wearing Nazis. She should resign in disgrace.

Can't ignore it. America's riding a fresh wave of antisemitism. "Jews control everything." "AIPAC owns the GOP." The usual script. If Thomas Massie loses his primary tonight, the timeline's already loaded: it's the Jews, the Zionist lobby, the billionaires who dropped $30+ million to primary him. Exhausted by this garbage. Conspiracy FATIGUE is real.

@catturd2 As a 3x Trump voter who used to follow you, you've really disappointed me with this blind support lately.

Almost every Republican in Congress will be celebrating tonight if Massie loses. Almost every Democrat in Congress will be celebrating tonight if Massie wins. That's all you need to know.

@RagingPapist @ElectionWiz Because Massie called out the bullshit in Iran? Look...I voted for Trump 3x, but its time to admit he isn't helping us Americans. Trump is controlled by Zionists right now.

@ElectionWiz Which is exactly why Massie needs to fall hard. This is Trumps party. We elected him to enact his vision and agenda. Massie and his supporters will always just backstab.

@goingfilterless @VladTheInflator Very true. We've actually been looking into buying land and putting up a modular home in PA. I did the math and it will be about 20% cheaper, so if we're going to overpay, might as well buy a new customizable home. And you're right, we'll all be ok.

Sad reality. I’m planning on my kids living with me for a long time. Hopefully buy some land in an up and coming area and they can build homes on it. The country will become politically unstable unless we have basic universal income and ai takes care of the vast majority of the daily tasks. Which seems like we are well in our way. Faith in a loving God helps tremendously. Whatever happens it will be ok.

Every time I talk about the housing market I get a bunch of retarded angry boomers crying because 70% of their fake net worth is wrapped up in a house they can't sell.

@goingfilterless @VladTheInflator Well you just said it, lowering rates will just make the prices higher so that isn't the solution either. Prices are a problem and until they come down, sellers will struggle. I know a family making $300k a year that moved back in with their parents until prices come down.

@goingfilterless @VladTheInflator Then so be it. At this rate of increase, I refuse to believe my children will need $1 million for a starter home on their $70k salary. The price jump between 2020 to now was just too dramatic. Its logically just not sustainable

@goingfilterless @VladTheInflator No not that bad, but it will come down to more realistic levels. If I bought a house today at the peak, I wouldn't nearly make as much money as I would just parking it in the S&P 500. Its just not worth it. Rarely just keep my net worth and rent then take on absurd mortgage debt.

@goingfilterless @VladTheInflator And it isn't rates. You all keep saying that. Its price keeping people like myself from jumping in. We're not buying a $500k cracker box, its just not happening.

@CptBeef5 @VladTheInflator They’ve been waiting since 2018. We should have already seen it. Yes downward pressure because of rates and asset prices out of reach for many. But crash? Like 2008? Really don’t see it.

@goingfilterless @VladTheInflator I hate to break it to you, but that philosophy has always been that way. Your explanation still doesn't explain why you need a $250k a year household income to buy a 2 bedroom cracker box. The dam is breaking. The smart ones are sitting on cash waiting

In the desirable areas there will be a concentration of high earners like there is now. Gentrification ensues pushing out low income. Then the high earners there that are not as high as the other ones will decide to find a new area to gentrify. That looks affordable to them. Like what happened in Colorado from the Californians.
