@2147mill I built an MVP before the office boffins even came up with the idea, proximity tested it vigorously using both WiFi and Bluetooth on a device station, discovered that it would not work at all, then emailed the professor responsible for pushing the idea, my own MP and others...

The UK government built a Covid app. Then scrapped it. £10.8 million spent on a version they abandoned before it launched. Then built it again. £35 million spent on the app in year one alone. Then deleted it in April 2023. The wider Test and Trace programme it sat within? £29.3 billion total. For an app that pinged you. That most people turned off. That disappeared without a trace. No pun intended. Meanwhile they tell us there's no money for the state pension. This country.

@ZubyMusic ... eventually I got fed up with the contradictory loops we'd end up in and so I asked "out of interest, why did you study finance and accounting?", to which he replied "more money, this degree subject promised high paid jobs". I was like okay... Lmao

@ZubyMusic ...this guy was obviously struggling in the soft skills department, but he also revealed that he was a raging communist and started hating on capitalism as the problem. After every micro debate he would say "communism solves the problem". You could tell this guy was full of rage.

Nobody is more materialistic and obsessed with money than people who 'hate capitalism'. Always talking about money and how to spend other people's.
