The owner changed his wallet password in college, later forgot it, and spent years unsuccessfully trying to regain access. The AI did not “hack” Bitcoin or crack the wallet’s encryption. Instead, it analyzed legacy wallet files, identified an older backup created before the password change, and uncovered issues in the recovery process.
