they used mostly the same plot for the first episode, but they literally did not use the actual pilot as the first episode like glitch does

i think this is the issue with how indie pilots work nowadays. in a real pilot, this is completely acceptable, the showrunner would want to demonstrate to the execs that their show is capable of having heart/something to say. but now pilots have to also be first episodes

I get that writing is extremely hard, but surely the people behind these indie animations understand that these therapyspeak conversations don't really work when you've only known the characters for 10 minutes

My nephew is trans. He started telling us at about age 3 that he was a little boy, not a little girl, and he wanted to be called "son" by his dad. No one ever suggested this to him or encouraged him to do it despite him not wanting to. We all just said "sure if that's what you want" and didn't fight him on it. He'll be 18 soon and still living as a boy. Trans kids exist. They deserve to live safely.

@actuallynotsofi @tamiloveslesbos blindness isn't always complete. partial/foggy vision or even just perceiving light vs darkness is also possible. some blind people can see through pinholes, or just with their peripheral vision as well. it's a spectrum, in other words.
