@ChessExplained @Cheek_Weld @NickVasquezMD I would also call it Anastasia's mate, although there are some differences compared to a typical Anastasia's mate. It also reminds me of a Dovetail (knight) mate, where the Queen and Knight work together strongly and can checkmate the enemy king even in the middle of the board!

@jevgueny @TSimonts Correlation vs. causality... In 2001 volgde een recessie na een fed cut, maar de oorzaak van de recessie was de dotcombubble. In 2008 idem, maar de oorzaak was de bankencrisis. Bij fed cuts in 1984, 1989 en 1995 bleef de beurs vrolijk doorstijgen.

Renteverlagingen zijn geen hoop meer, maar een quasi zekerheid (zo menen de markten toch). In de VS -100 basispunten in 2024 en -125bps in 2025. In Europa -150 basispunten tegen einde 2025. De 2-jr en 10-jr rentes staan dan ook overal wat onder druk. Lang leve zuurstof

@FinanceFilosoof Als die meerwaardetaks er komt, wat is dan het alternatief? ETF/aandelen met distributie ipv accumulatie kopen? Maar ook daar betaal je 30% RV op... Of enkel kopen, nooit verkopen, en wachten tot de taks verdwijnt? Of je beleggingen over laten zetten naar een buitenlandse broker?

Mixed feelings bij. Enerzijds kan het beleggers meer richting dividendaandelen duwen op zoek naar een alternatief (goed voor @gertdemesure) . Anderzijds vrees ik de meerwaardetaks op aandelen wat. Hoop alleszins dat ze dat gedrocht buiten België kunnen houden voor mijn klanten.

Ik heb heel lang geen aandelen meer gekocht om op een beursdag als vandaag toe te slaan. En uitgerekend dan werkt @Bolero (en naar verluidt ook @Degiro) niet... @Saxobank doet het overigens wel (en hun website werkt ook gewoon tussen 0u en 1u).
