The harsh reality of collecting baseball cards is that any time you have to ask, “this guy has been doing x, y, and z well for 3 straight years when will his cards go up?!” the answer is that they probably won’t.
If he was going to be a big hobby name he already would have been.

I found five 2023 Topps baseball value boxes in the retail wild. I got them all in hopes of glory. There was a quick blip when glory was possible. There was no glory to be had.
