There is also a Freeport (IL) Pretzels, so not that unique. Illinois has heavy concentration of great mascots like the ones mentioned on the list plus Teutopolis Wooden Shoes and others.

Feels kinda crazy to have three guys off the '26 team, but their ability to shoot the three is pushing them into the starting lineup for me.

#Illini Brad Underwood says he regrets not bringing David Mirkovic back into the game in loss to UCLA. Part of it was foul trouble. "Should've brought him back in, we can't win without Mirk... I didn't go back to him which is totally on me." The freshman forward played just eight minutes in the second half and did not play in OT.

@ktausk13 I don’t care how we play against Michigan. Game barely matters. We can’t make adjustments defensively. Will not make the second weekend. Mirk is/was our best player next year, but Brad messed that up too. Not sure what he was trying to prove to Mirk tonight. Season over.

@ALionEye I was on campus when they opened that Skylight location. My co-worker at The Daily Illini (Carina Amador) wrote the slogan “Burritos as big as your head” and she drew the little illustration to go with it. They adopted that slogan at all of their restaurants.
