Last night. Our u15’s had the chance to play at the home of @crewealexfc at the Mornflake Stadium in the Floodlit Cup. What an amazing evening this group will not forget for a long, long time. We came out 4-2 victors, progressing to the knockout phase. A huge thank you to @academy_cafc for the hospitality and giving our boys this wonderful experience. @burtonalbionfc ⚽️

@ContactCounts Oh yes.......pass , pass, pass, pass,.....oh he's lost it!! The greedy little sh*t!! Seen it all (sadly)... I had to have a word with a parent that shouted at my son aged 8/9 for going on a mazy run! Crackers! And we wonder at times why kids struggle to beat people 1:1

@CraigCorrigan81 I’m sure all these parents & coaches are well meaning but uneducated. Clubs (supported by FA) have responsibilities to support all these new players, parents and coaches. The entire sideline hates the greedy dribbler as well 😂🤦‍♂️

Watched 10-15 mins (that’s all I could suffer) of 6 x u7/8s games all next to each other at the weekend. After a summer of wildfire and floods, and records broken here in the UK, yesterday's announcement is barely fathomable. Future generations will ask why, after these stark signs, the government would put this country’s global leadership on climate change into reverse. Fairness should absolutely be central to any change, but it is not fair that our children will have their future blighted by the poor decisions made today. It isn't fair that businesses that have invested heavily in pioneering green technologies and the jobs of tomorrow will have to put their plans on ice, nor that changes in policy endanger our much-loved cultural heritage and natural environment, undermining everything from food security to our health and wellbeing. And it isn't fair that the poorest in our society will lose out most in the future. Progress towards Net Zero must be sustained, not kicked down the road for political expediency. We urge the Prime Minister and his Government to rethink.
