As soon as a tenant is adversarial with me, we immediately evict or non renew their lease. I hate tenants like you, not because you're wrong, the landlord wants to accept checks only, just get them a damn check lol. They could charge you a $500 fee to take cash or an administrative fee, if you want to get down to the nitty gritty law. Tenants come into these properties acting like they're owed something beyond what the lease provides. It's crazy. You're living in a property they own, you have no strings to pull. When you present a win or lose situation, you'll lose. Even if they violated the "law", good luck getting the state to do anything about it. It'd be a civil case and a fine that would probably take years and you'd be long gone by then.

Hunger Strike for Venezuela Update: Hour 46 Nearly two whole days since I last had food. This morning I awoke with severe stomach pains. My doctor pleaded with me to eat. I refused. I will not eat again until Maduro is free. Instead, to keep me alive, my doctor administered a simple glass of Baileys in order to maintain my potassium levels, and a simple piece of toast with nothing but marmalade and butter. I've been warned that, in order to remain conscious, I may have to take further medical proteins around noon. I am now completely unable to type and I require assistance to visit the lavatory. I am dying. But if my sacrifice restores respect for international law and liberal progressive democracy, it will have been worth it. I will post another update tomorrow if I am still conscious.
