Wow, 10 years - how time flies! It's amazing how many memories a bundle of paper can conjure up. Still means a lot to me looking back at that first issue - the start of a journey! So much great music and so many great people involved along the way, too!

@CATorp The challenge today is to make the next 10 years as noisy, inky, joyous, hilarious, ludicrous & raucous as the last. We will forever be purveyors of dreams. C x

@CATorp And because of the years of love from the artistic minds of our city - the writers, photographers, illustrators & dreamers but most of all, Liverpool’s musicians & many geniuses we’ve featured over the years- Bido shines like a big pink blancmange of musical hope, 10 years later.

@CATorp I thought it’d be great if we could do 10 editions, though I knew my credit card would be maxed out after a couple so that was probably a long shot.

@CATorp I had no idea what we were doing, it wasn’t a ‘business’, there was no ‘exit strategy’. And that was part of why it’s stuck around. It was built on a gooey, hopelessly romantic idea of Liverpool. A musical love letter to our city.

@CATorp The ‘it’ll never work’ naysayers, the enthusiastic encouragers, the ‘print-is-dead’ pragmatists, the wide-eyed Mersey-adoring evangelists.

@CATorp It’s a hazy fug now, but I do remember the excitement of that time, the build up to the first issue. Meeting would-be contributors which would blossom into decade-long friendships.
