@future_yard great night last night with some amazing musical talent from SJP, St Mary's and Weatherhead schools. Was down there to watch our Frankie with his year 7 band plus music teacher. All performances were brilliant "Viva la revolution, viva la Birkenhead" 💪🎶

THE FUTURE IS FUTURE YARD... The strongest music hubs tend to have a clear community mission, regular open access events, artist development pathways, strong local partnerships, consistent storytelling, multiple income streams and measurable impact. That’s pretty much the stuff of Future Yard CIC right now. I’ve served on their advisory board since 2025 and we’ve been planning something very special for 2026 hey Craig Pennington and team! Meanwhile, the experience in strategising and planning what we have in store has shown me how Future Yard is not just the heartbeat of the local music ecosystem in Birkenhead and Wirral. They’ve become a true community home and I’ve found over time through experience that people support what feels like theirs. It explains why they’ve had so many regular ‘open-door moments’ that have sold out. The advisory board are currently assisting Future Yard with their vision to become even more sustainable, creating multi-layer revenue for greater local community impact.
