@rchrdbyd For that money, they’re probably looking for someone “well seasoned”. I’ll show myself out…

I don't know the answer to this question -- can anyone help out? What are the best resources to learn CloudFormation for a beginner?

@CraigLefkowitz I like the solution of attaching the configuration to the activation (and the activation support for private types). Can you active an extension multiple times (with different aliases) if you need two sets of configuration in one region?

Something that I missed when the CloudFormation Public Registry was announced, is that you can now store configuration (like API Keys) outside of the template: #registry-set-configuration" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormat…

@ranman I just had an issue where a direct message only showed up in my mobile app. Restarting the desktop app fixed it, but only after I replied in my mobile app first

Does anyone else have a bug in slack where it constantly shows one thread as unread... even though everything is read?

AWS #CloudFormation Guard 2.0 is out! Guard is now a general purpose policy-as-code language: write policy rules for any JSON- or YAML-formatted files, such as #Terraform or #Kubernetes configurations, in addition to CloudFormation templates: go.aws/3wrhARl

@alexbdebrie @coates I *think* the rationale is that it can't actually completely roll back on an initial deploy because then the stack would be gone and you might lose some context about why it failed. I think I developed this theory before coming back to AWS but now I can just ask @CraigLefkowitz

Please just let me redeploy over a CloudFormation stack that failed on its first try rather than making me manually delete it first #awswishlist

@AWSCloudFormer in the web console when I filter stacks by "in progress," I'm not seeing any results, even though there are stacks in UPDATE_IN_PROGRESS status. Using the AWS CLI, list-stacks with UPDATE_IN_PROGRESS filter works. Seems to be a web console bug.

Does AWS not test their latest feature releases? Trying to use a delegated admin to create SERVICE_MANAGED StackSets, but it complains that I'm not using a delegated admin account, even though I am, and can confirm I am by a message in the console that says so in the same account

We just added transform and macro support for StackSets, allowing you to create StackSets with SAM templates. #serverless in all the places! Great job StackSets team!
AWS CloudFormation@AWSCloudFormer

AWS #CloudFormation macros and transforms are now supported in StackSets. With support for the AWS::Serverless transform, your SAM-based #serverless applications can be rolled out to multiple AWS accounts and Regions in a single operation. go.aws/3mSIeyN
