Elder Neil L. Andersen of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles invited Latter-day Saints in the Pacific Area to “speak more of Christ,” during a 12-day ministry assignment to Papua New Guinea, Australia, New Zealand, Tonga and Fiji from March 11-22, 2026.
“We love Him, we adore Him, we believe in Him, we trust in Him, and we trust in His sacred Atonement,” said the Apostle of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints during a devotional in Auckland, New Zealand, on Wednesday, March 18, that was broadcast across the country.
At the meeting’s conclusion, Elder @AndersenNeilL said, “In the coming days, we should speak more of Christ.” When sharing testimony, he encouraged members to begin simply: “I know Jesus is the Christ.”
“Let it start with the Savior,” he said.

Over the past week, I’ve been grateful for opportunities to share my testimony of Jesus Christ and reflect on my new responsibilities following my call to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.

Servants of the Lord throughout time have accomplished remarkable things because of their faith in Jesus Christ—not because they were powerful, but because they trusted God and His power.
The same is true of our missionaries today.
Faith produces miracles. This doesn’t mean that we think very hard about how much we believe, and then something magical happens. No, it means that we trust God enough to take action.
Having faith in Jesus Christ means relying completely on Him—trusting in His infinite power, intelligence, and love. These faithful missionaries here and throughout the world demonstrate this type of faith in the Savior daily.

The words "light," "life," and "hope" are often used to describe Jesus Christ, especially at Christmas.
A life anchored in Jesus Christ—the Light and Life of the World—becomes rich with purpose, alive in the Spirit, and filled with the joy that only He can give.
In Times Square, the billboards went dark—then lit up with a message of hope: Jesus Christ is the reason for Christmas. A glowing Nativity reminded us He was born for each of us—to bring peace, purpose, and healing. Share this message with someone today.
Jesus’ condescension, His willingness to live in this fallen world and show us the meaning of His gospel in day-to-day life, is truly an act of genuine love.
As you celebrate Christmas this year, I invite you to reflect on the mortal life and mission of Jesus Christ—and His condescension to save you.
In the few weeks since last general conference, I have received several letters from individuals impacted by the message that no one should sit alone. I hope the messages that have been shared with me will help you.
The Lord is preparing His Church and His people, those who bear His name, to receive Him. As part of our preparation for His coming, He will lift each of us so we may rise to spiritual challenges and opportunities unlike any seen in the history of this world.
How, then, can each of us participate in this work of such magnitude and grandeur?
When we take repentance as a joyful opportunity because of our growing faith that Jesus is the Christ, when we understand and believe that Heavenly Father hears our every prayer, when we strive to obey and live the commandments, we grow in our power to receive continuing revelation.
The Holy Ghost can be our constant companion. A feeling of light will stay with us even as the world around us becomes darker.
As we pray and grow our faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior and our Heavenly Father as our loving Father, we become a vital part in the Lord’s work as He prepares the world for His Second Coming.
The Nativity story in Luke 2 has been told for centuries, yet its message remains the same: God sent His Son to bring light and life to all.
And as we celebrate His birth, may we create traditions that share His love through simple acts of kindness and service. #LightTheWorld
