@hrlm116 @MovieEndorser Agree with order, and absolutely robbed of the Oscar. He was great in Training Day, but feel like that Oscar was payback for Malcolm X loss.

@CardChronicle 100% agree. Made offseason so fun, and when done can really focus on conference. I also don’t love it hanging over my head each thanksgiving.

@Gibboanxious Both amazing films. I would give Social Network an edge, but love them both, as I do most Fincher films.

@espnVshow Don’t use your platform to damage a company, and all the people they employ. Call them, air your grievances, help them to be better. Advanced ENT didn’t get to their size without being good at what they do. But the bigger you are, law of large numbers, the more mistakes are made

@TheOnlySweeney I think moving it back a week will help some. But so much is owners / trainer knowing their horse isn’t set for that distance, and smaller field. So they dont want to lose bad and hurt potential breeding fees.

Yes. He’s the most famous entertainer in history. All of the entertainers you mentioned can sit courtside at a NBA game. Michael Jackson could not. @MagicJohnson told the story of how he invited MJ to a Lakers game and it created so much chaos, they had to stop the game. MJ had to leave because fans were leaving their seats to try to get to him. None of the people you mentioned have that level of fame where they can’t attend public events.
Anna 🤍🥀@annhybri

Is Michael Jackson really bigger than Eminem, Jay z, Lil Wayne, Taylor swift, Rihanna and Beyonce all put together?

@bada_bing4 @aaron_renn I think as one of the larger corporations in city, there is a civic responsibility. Brown-Forman, and Humana, have both supported city much more than CD, philanthropically. Dissing local establishments tracks.

NYT: As Kentucky Derby Becomes a Bigger Business, Locals Feel Left Behind - Locals say rising ticket prices and a late start time for the Oaks race on Friday are hurting residents and restaurants. “The only thing I see is greed,” one steakhouse owner said. nytimes.com/2026/05/01/bus…

@sosadeep3 @aaron_renn I agree, & don’t. Think problem is CD almost always forces you to buy Oaks/Derby tickets as package (See Thurby added at some point). So makes it tough unless secondary market tics, & those tickets are outrageous. I personally despise late Oaks, but sadly I think CD doesn’t care

@aaron_renn Well people will vote with their feet. If people stop going eventually Oaks is going to turn back into an event for the locals. There is no reason the infield should cost more than 60 dollars especially with the overpriced drinks they sell and the food.

Kramer vs. Kramer won the Oscar for Best Picture over Apocalypse Now in 1980. I don’t think the @TheAcademy got this right- I think Apocalypse Now needed to win this award for so many reasons. But I’m not sure I’ve ever seen better on-screen acting than in this film. Have you?

@LAthertonPhoto @MarcWeinbergWX We were there, and a ton of people left early, appeared to leave in time to see oaks, so two races pre oaks a flood of people left. Definitely Legit photo - bad fans to moving if late for fans, but it won’t change things for CD

@TheOnlySweeney I’m not a UK fan, but my best friend is, and he does not want this kid. He predicts problems with team chemistry, and him possibly packing it up in January. He’s probably in minority of UK fans, but not unreasonable take.
