@LP15393 You have to play smallwood in correct way to get best out of him. If you want him to play in a pair infront of back 4 so 1 can go to break up play and simple ball to better players he's brilliant. If you play him as a ball playing 6 on his own he hasn't got the legs anymore

Do everything we can in the summer to sign Smallwood on a permanent. Clearly never wanted to be at Tranmere. Been unreal since he’s been here. That experience in midfield has been vital. #TRFC #UTG

Really wanted to sign him when he was at Accrington. He registered 28 goals & 12 assists in 3 seasons there when he was playing as a striker. Since he’s left he’s been miss profiled & being playing as a number 10/CM. #UTG

@JamieRaynor I don't mind our signings tbh, we have let go mainly league 2 players and brought him a higher quality player, even if some of these are short term. Its the emotional attachment we all had to the promotion team which is affecting fans views for me (probably an unpopular opinion)

@Official_BRFC It took us at bradford until his final year of his 3 year contract to get the best out of him. If you play him in a midfield pair, he cant cover the ground anymore. If you play him in a 3 him as the middle, deeper one he's so so much better. He does need legs around him though

@swfc Hope he does well, we loved tayo at city. Really quick but alot better as a wing back. His game is all about going forward and running, bit to learn 1 on 1 defending if he plays in a back 4 as a left back but he's only gonna improve as a young player

@WTIDPOD Alot better as a wing back in a 5 than a back 4. Very quick going forward, bit naive positionally against league 2 wingers at times for us at bradford but we loved tayo

22-year old left-back with fifteen appearances for Leyton Orient so far this season. Another player through the door. 👍

@ZacThomson13 @SportsPeteO He was great for us in league 2 as a wing back, good going forward lots of pace. If your playing him in a back 4 I wouldn't say he's as good defensively as he got caught out a few times positionally against league 2 wingers so depends on what formation really
