If Boro got reinstated I'd be rather uncomfortable with it tbh. No matter what, it won't be over legally one way or other.

Middlesbrough Football Club would not be pursuing this unless they knew they have a huge case & listened to the footballing world and their views. Every pundit, ex player & people inside the game r saying the same thing (Obviously there will be the odd person who doesn't agree)

You’re seriously telling me you believe that analyst travelled all that way without telling anyone at Southampton he was doing it ? C’mon get real. And even if he did he’s an employee of the club and should have been told to act within the laws of the game at all times. Ignorance of the laws is not a defence.

@Dabs06721990971 As I said, it doesn’t look good. However there still aren’t enough facts out there yet to fully say we are in on it. Once Saints come forward with their defence or lack of, then we will have a clearer idea of what maybe happened. Or atleast a different view on things

We 100% deserve to be punished. No doubt about that. BUT I think it’s safe to say we should ignore most of the suggestions from #boro fans. Next they’ll be asking for the club to be put into administration… They have completely lost their heads. #SaintsFC

Jumping to conclusions ? You actively sought to gain an unfair advantage over an opponent - Boro don’t make the rules but at least we have the decency to abide by them. You’re most likely going to get away with it and reap the rewards of another big pay day by reaching the premier league, but if you get there you’ll have been helped by using dirty tricks to get there. Where’s the honour in that ? Do the people running Southampton have no shame at all ? Absolutely disgusting behaviour, not only to Boro but everyone else in football. I’d be absolutely boiling if we ever stooped that low and demanding we withdrew ourselves from the playoffs.

Having thought about #SpyGate and Boro boss Kim Hellberg is right, Southampton cheated. The Saints have accepted their guilt. So, what can be done? A fine doesn't help Boro and they won't be thrown out. So for me, the second leg should be played without home fans.
