Easily the fastest runner in the park yesterday was a woman wearing a @thedrift_mag hat. Just anecdotal—but revealing.

This review of some recent illness memoirs captures many intriguing and frustrating aspects of the genre. Worth reading!

Science has no shortage of critique (peer reviews, editorials, rebuttals) but seems to lack the genre of criticism illustrated here.

Thank you to @PoliticoRyan for having me on to talk about how past war crimes prosecutions will inform efforts to hold perpetrators accountable for crimes in Ukraine, & what we can do to push beyond accepted paradigms.
