They were clearly readying to onboard Maxx Crosby - until the medical assessment made the price of two first round picks too risky.

After Maxx Crosby underwent testing today at the Ravens’ facility, Baltimore made the decision as an organization that it could not move forward with the deal based on the results of the medical. Crosby will remain a Raider for now as other teams can weigh any potential risk that comes with trading for him.

I feel like I'm working for the Ravens PR dept atm but...
How can 'multiple people around the NFL' possibly have the information required to determine whether the Ravens fairly identified more concerning info on his knee in a physical?
The Raiders may have given them their best assessment and Baltimore's medical staff simply disagreed once they got in there.

It’s been made clear by multiple people around the NFL at all levels that Baltimore had all the information and understood where Maxx Crosby’s knee was in terms of his recovery timeline. Many in the league believe GM Eric DeCosta and the Ravens ultimately just got cold feet.

It’s obvious to me what happened here. The Ravens found a way to get similar production to Crosby for a comparable price while also keeping their next two first round picks. The question is why announce the Crosby trade? Shady business.

The UFL will now award 4 points for FGs of 60+ yards.
I like it in the spring league but wouldn't bring it to the NFL. Teams start drives one first down away from a 63-yard attempt now. 4-point FGs is too close to a 6-point TD on a much longer drive.
