Naive? No way. Josh Simons is possibly the most devious, ruthless, deceptive and manipulative operator in the Labour Party. It beggars belief that one whose machinations skirt criminality is still an MP. Josh says he was naive, Starmer beats himself up over Mandelson’s appointment - isn’t there a trend starting to take shape here? They are playing us for absolute fools.

Josh Simons - Labour MP for Makerfield (Wigan/Greater Manchester). It’s hard to know where to start with Josh - the scale of the donations he’s connected to is mind-boggling. Let’s start with the consortium/‘think tank’ @LabourTogether of which Josh is a major shareholder. This organisation, according to the @ElectoralCommUK has received declared donations of £9,716,182.47 which have been used for party purposes and distributed to individual candidates/MPs. The biggest donors to @LabourTogether include: Lord David Sainsbury Francesca Sainsbury Perrin Stuart Rodin Martin Taylor Gary Lubner Trevor Chinn Peter Hearn So much of Labour Together’s operations are shrouded in secrecy. It was fined by the Electoral Commission for failing to declare over £700,000 in donations. Josh, along with Morgan McSweeney, Deborah Mattinson, Stuart Ingham and politicians @lisanandy et al with funding from Trevor Chinn, Lord Sainsbury and Lord Alli among others - left no stone unturned in Labour Together’s attempts to end Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership of The Labour Party. You could say that Josh is one of that select elite very much at the heart of Labour Party operations, funding, appointments and intrigue. After operating behind the scenes for so long, Josh himself was put forward as a candidate at last year’s election. He accepted financial assistance from the following: £10,000 from Francesca Sainsbury Perrin. £5,000 from Tony Blair associate Michael Craven. £2,500 from Elizabeth Robertson. ⭐ £47,000 from hedge fund manager and top Labour donor Martin Taylor. ⭐ With his £93,904 salary, expenses (£56,542.87 claimed to date), generous donations, his undisclosed @LabourTogether share dividends, and hospitality and freebies from such as Wigan Warriors and the Jockey Club 🐎, Josh is certainly on to a winner every day as an MP. On 9th July, Josh voted for the welfare cuts that will result in sick and disabled people facing further hardship in their lives.
