@CraigTurps @sfish2332 @ChrisParkerNo6 All big clubs with big fanbases have the loyalty schemes and they work smoothly. No fall out as everyone knows how you get points and if you don’t have enough you don’t get access to some away tickets, depending on size of allocation. Simple as that

The answer to the problem is staring the club in the face. A loyalty points system for ST holders. It is the only way anything will change as more instances like this likely to occur in the near future if fortunes continue to improve on the pitch and more ST’s sold. #GTFC

@AnonHunterUK @RyanCollins1987 @GyHistoryClub Imo the driving force behind the rumours are that the ones that have braved the elements didn’t get a look in at all, like you say online etc will be quicker but the club saw people queing early, they got them pizzas which is brilliant

If the rumours are true that blackrow got given 150 tickets for Salford away then serious questions need to be asked of the decision makers at Grimsby here. Over a quarter of our allocation to one sponsor is a disgrace and unforgivable #GTFC

@VFTFindus @sfish2332 @ChrisParkerNo6 I do agree but I’m not sold on this points system being the answer, I’m not suggesting I know the answer by any means but you see points systems nearly everywhere & they’ve still got the same problems as we’re having with our simple ST holders, members then general sale

@CraigTurps @sfish2332 @ChrisParkerNo6 Exiles will struggle to get tickets if not ST holders. Thats the reality. Unless demand for long distance games is less on occasions

@alexthegreat192 no I agree they shouldn’t & it’s not right but we’re quick to praise & give credit to the club when it’s due, they can see the rumours circulating and changing quickly, they can address it but they’re not & imo seem to be hiding from what they’ve caused with no transparency

@CraigTurps It’s not primary school. People might be disappointed but that doesn’t give them entitlement to make things up.

Why are so many spreading rumours today? Whilst you may be disappointed, as am I, to miss out it’s not helpful making shite up and creating anger towards the club on the eve of the biggest game we’ve had in years. #GTFC

@AnonHunterUK @GyHistoryClub @RyanCollins1987 I’m not trying to say that the club havent tried but there should of been transparency on how many tickets we actually had left to sell after corporate etc, instead of letting 100s of people stand outside all night in the wind and rain

@sfish2332 @ChrisParkerNo6 @VFTFindus That’s exactly how I see it, I agree with the buying tickets, you get your ST points & would probably only maybe 5 away ‘tickets’ added with games like pizza cup where the tickets are cheaper & cup games & you’d be in the top bracket of a points system

@ChrisParkerNo6 @VFTFindus I’d say a better ticketing platform and transparency of what’s actually available with and online/ ticket office split would probably be better.

@AnonHunterUK @GyHistoryClub @RyanCollins1987 and when I say explanation, they could of been clear of how the tickets would be divvied out from the outset, like X amount to sponsors/families, online & In person but they let people stand out in the cold all night knowing there was hardly any going to fans

Artell has the easiest team talk in the world Friday, acknowledge the players family’s etc are going to be there but show them the picture of them people camped outside dying for a ticket & say you’ve got 1 job, get to Wembley for them to have there day out

@3Fishontheshirt @SalfordCityFC It’s the EFL as much as Salford, they set the 10% rule for POs but clubs like Salford know they don’t travel well, can make money in the league off clubs like us, Notts etc but when they need the advantage & money is irrelevant they can do what they want regarding tickets

The ticketing debacle is on @SalfordCityFC look at the root cause people. Add that to the fact we could’ve sold those tickets 7-8 times over and it’s was always going to be carnage. #gtfc
