This is what happens when you charge five hundred dollars a ticket for a golf event at a public course. You price out the loud, passionate, blue collar fans that make Bethpage a nightmare for visitors and replace them with a corporate crowd that has the energy of a board meeting. @FPLfrasier Got any data on Mainoo not progressing forwards? Watching live last week, he looked to be the only one looking tk go forwards in central areas, although more often on the dribble

It’s very simple now. When Ugarte and Mainoo play together, we lack central progression massively. All of your players can’t be possession retention merchants. Someone has to take the responsibility to progress the ball up the pitch. I have said this many times now, Mainoo has to improve his long ball abilities and use it frequently before starting for us week in week out. The good thing is he is young and he can develop this. Another good thing is Mainoo and coaching set up know this. He has been trying hopefully long balls in recent games. This is good sign. — Ideal solution for United is getting a new midfielder who is excellent with passes, but also decent defensively. A player who can play with both Ugarte and Mainoo. While playing with Ugarte, that new midfielder takes up ball progression responsibility, and while playing with Mainoo he takes up more defensive responsibility. Does that player exist? I don’t know.

@Paulmcg8 Trying to instil some of these things with my girls side. They seem reluctant to initiate physical contact just to “feel” where their marker is, but we’ll persist because it’s a difference maker. Also make that half yard & get your shot away, don’t need the perfect set up.
