POV: You’re 43 You live for your morning coffee. You love your job as a loan officer. You workout for your mental health. Your fiancé and kids are your best friends. Months are flying by like days. You prefer staying in on Friday night. And honestly…you wouldn’t trade it.

A simple cheat code for building a great mortgage business is to just be consistent. Close on time. Do what you said you’d do. Follow up without being asked. An alarming number of loan officers suck at this.

The best loan officers don't chase business. They make realtors' lives easier. They answer their phone. They close on time - all the time. They make buyers feel taken care of. They send updates before being asked. Be a great partner. The business will follow.

I don't know who needs to hear this... But the quickest way to stall your 2026 home purchase is signing for a shiny new car right now.

There is no one who cares less about what others think than the parent that brings their children to a nice restaurant. They don’t care what others think, they just want to do nice things with their kids. Respect 🤝

Got the monthly deposit for a few rentals today. This is about $80,000 per year of income if you X by 12 I achieved $80k income with about $350,000 of investment in two properties (that includes 10% Down on each, plus closing costs, plus repairs for both properties) To get this same income with dividends I would need $2,000,000 invested at a 4% yield
