Huge thanks to everyone at 6th Cramlington Scouts who helped with our Nest Box Project last night. Funded by Northumberland County Councils Environment and Climate Fund The boxes will be installed at ECNR to help us gather data about birds breeding and nesting in the area.

Yesterday we hosted the first nest box workshops and we built 17 nest boxes. This session was the first of many sessions ahead of spring 2026. The funding was secured via Northumberland County Council Environment and Climate Fund to deliver this project.
