Working 10hrs+ for DAYS on this -mostly- dynamic snow system for Bjarnheim 🥹 10hrs+ because I'm very slow in coding because I'm bad at it lol. But I actually learn alot while doing this, which is much fun. Always wanted to learn coding in ARK. @survivetheark

@Nekatus The possibility of a directional blizzard wind would be cool. Slowing movement against the current to a weighty walk speed, or an increase in speed when using it to your advantage. What a way to get around the map.

Yes, for Bjarnheim I've worked on a Snow event for the whole map. It turns the whole map into a deadly blizzard. No matter how sunny your basepot is, when fimbulwinter comes its getting dangerous. Seasons are also kinda planned but not dynamical. Via server config.

When you learn that waiting tables minimum wage is $2-3 an hour, you realize how wrong you are. The system is set up so we, the patrons, bear the burden of paying the staff instead of the restaurant owners. It’s an unfair and broken system, yes, and it needs to be fixed. Kind of like saying tariffs are paid by the foreign countries, not by the consumer… it’s inaccurate. It’s a broken system that needs to be fixed. To say that tariffs aren’t paid by us is not true. And to say that tips are not the way these workers pay their rent… well that’s not true.
