Think a perfect draft day for Sharks is trade back one spot with Vancouver or with Blackhawks. In trade back, pick up defenseman. Rinzel or Hronek, select Reid. And then with our 20th pick trade up or trade out.

I like Davis but he’s AB’s have been terrible, strikes out every other AB, and Pinango has been excellent. I think this team honestly got worse.

Update: the Canucks have narrowed their GM search down to five good candidates. Dorion is one but would be wrong to characterize him in any way as a front-runner. Ryan Johnson is still in the mix as well.

Blue Jays manager John Schneider watched Trey Yesavage's rehab start at triple-A Buffalo, in which the righty allowed four 4 R/2 ER, on 2 H and 4 BB with 2 Ks in 2.1 IP.
Yesavage averaged 94.3 m.p.h. with his fastball, was up to 95.8, and felt fine physically after.
