Conversations with Coleman
Conversations with Coleman@ConvoswColeman·
Coleman Hughes pushes Glenn Greenwald on the Israel lobby’s influence in Washington. @Coldxman: “The entire pro-Israel lobby was outspent...during the Obama years by the dentistry lobby…It’s not nearly powerful enough to get us involved in all these wars that people like to blame on it.” @GGreenwald: “If we are going to frame it as binaries—either AIPAC is all powerful and omnipotent…or the alternative is AIPAC is really kind of weak—I think it’s a disservice to the discussion. The truth lies in the middle, but far closer to the end of the spectrum where they’re extremely powerful… “This is a lobby devoted to the interests of a foreign country. And there’s nothing that remotely competes with the power of the pro-Israel lobby in terms of lobbies that come from other countries. And that's the reason why it gets so much attention. It’s just such a bizarre phenomenon of American political life.” Watch Coleman’s response—and the rest of their debate on Israel and U.S. foreign policy—now: youtu.be/AEvJQoowZUI

Checking in on the “Woke is being put away” crowd. This sort of stuff has become totally ingrained on the institutional Left. It’s not going anywhere. Not voluntarily, at least. Asking the Left to abandon Wokeism is like asking a member of the Taliban to become an apostate from Islam.

🧵🚨 MAJOR BREAKING: THE 4-DAY MIRACLE, or How MWEG and a 500-Org Coalition Weaponized Charlie Kirk's Assassination 🚨 1,400 people. 20+ organizations. 3 professionally moderated panels. 4 days after an assassination. Does this sound organic to you? September 14, 2025 (a Sunday, no less) the "Dignity Over Violence" zoom goes live. The coalition's central resource was a website called turntoward[.]us registered by Mormon Women for Ethical Government (MWEG) ONE DAY after Charlie Kirk was shot dead at UVU. Registrant email: internal.support@mweg.org "Turn Toward." Now say "Turning Point." Did they name the campaign after the dead man's organization to advance their own political agenda? I'm going to reverse-engineer how you mobilize 20 NGOs in 4 days... because you CAN'T. Not unless the infrastructure was already built. I dare you, @mormonweg , to explain how these receipts are "absolutely false." As always, patience as I pull together the thread. 👇

It's looking increasingly likely that Max Blumenthal, son of top Hillary Clinton official Sydney Blumenthal, fabricated the fake story about Israel killing Charlie Kirk, and used Joe Kent's wife and Candace Owens to spread it. Everything leads back to him.

I get the Iran stuff. Patriots can reasonably debate it But if you're defending Joe Kent's honor you're defending a guy who is actively trying to free the furry homosexual who assassinated Charlie Kirk, all because he and his schizo second wife listened to retarded podcasts
Michael Shellenberger@shellenberger

Joe Kent says he is skeptical that Tyler Robinson, who confessed to killing Charlie Kirk, was the lone shooter. That accusation could undermine the prosecutors’ case against Robinson. Kent says he knew of the risk before he decided to speak out.

THREAD: (1/13) A foreign-linked influence network has been running coordinated operations against the Trump administration for 22 months. I know it's real because they ran one against me. I was targeted in something I knew was far from organic. This level of media is isolating, unwanted, and unwarranted. There was nobody to help, nobody to jump in and say, this is a false OP and help me. Well, I don’t believe in problems without solutions, so I’ve spent the last few months learning to build programs to utilize publicly available information to prove that this is way bigger than me. This is about creating chaos in the Republican Party. It's about the organized effort to lose Republicans the midterms and subvert President Trump's agenda, and I have the data for you to see 🧵

@chris_gerrib @CPCUSnark @gCaptain Trump has had children with 3 women. Not a single one took half his wealth like what happened to Gates and Bezos All of his children love him unlike Musk. He’s got a loyal wife and he doesn’t smoke or drink. He defeated political dynasties & was twice elected You’re the monkey

The really sad part about the story of Joe Kent is that, unlike people like Tucker Carlson or Megyn Kelly, he’s not in on the grift He’s gone so far down the conspiratorial rabbit hole, that he actually thinks he’s doing something patriotic

Much of the contemporary Right does not think politically, even when they spend all day talking about politics online. What the Right by and large practices is a sort of “anti-politics”. They want to escape politics rather than engage in it, because engaging in politics necessarily means abandoning many of the Right’s own liberal priors that tried to dissolve all antagonisms into an economic or technical problem to resolve. But politics isn’t a puzzle. There’s no “solution” to dissolve the possibility of group-level conflict. There’s only recognizing or denying that conflict exists. And unfortunately, the Right has spent the last several decades overwhelmingly choosing the latter. There simply is no world where if we just grow GDP enough or rewrite a few articles in the Constitution that we’ll all just begin to get along. Conflict is intrinsic to human life. We are social beings. We are tribalistic. We group ourselves among like-minded family and friends. Abolishing this would be like abolishing humanity itself.

@HokageKenpachii @kenklippenstein @WhoAreYouPunk Have you actually looked into this? His role didn’t involve investigating the Kirk murder. In fact when he tried to he got slapped down by the FBI. After that happened like a toddler he crashes out over the jooos. These people aren’t heros. They are losers

For all the absurd quantities of information we've all been forced to learn about Donald Trump, I'll admit I never quite realized he's been specifically fixated on seizing the Kharg Island since the 1980s

It’s jarring how many people I know who couldn’t care less about the NBA right now. Was at a brewery last weekend watching the NCAA and it was like pulling teeth trying to get anyone to talk about the league. The NBA has a serious cultural problem with the American sports fan.

Trump doesn't need CPAC. CPAC needs Trump. Sadly, leadership at CPAC has aligned with the consultant class and political establishment types who tried to control the movement instead of listening to the people who built it. I support the President's decision not to attend this year. I see massive MAGA conferences in the near future that will absolutely DWARF CPAC.
