@EverythingDCU_ they have been pretty adamant that they are not merging, I bet they introduce DCU batman soon, with no Batman 2 in 2027 that opens the door to introduce him in Man of Tomorrow easily

Prediction: if we don’t get any update on Batman: The Brave and the Bold by the end of 2027, Batverse is definitely merging

It’s hard to believe after so many delays, but yes, The Batman: Part II has been delayed again—this time to February 18, 2028. This, in turn, means that TBATB cannot premiere in 2028.

@mjarbo Could even say the negative buzz around Milly's interviews didn't help, her cameo was dope but not enough to make ppl run to theaters, needed to set her up more, maybe having this one after MOT would've been better overall. I still want to see it knowing it won't match Superman.

SUPERGIRL is tracking around $125 million worldwide, below BLUE BEETLE, SHAZAM! FURY OF THE GODS, and 2015’s FANTASTIC FOUR. Audiences clearly rejected it. Which is odd, because it’s not bad. Milly Alcock works, it moves fast, and it’s a decent watch. So what went wrong? The release date hurt, sandwiched between TOY STORY 5 and MINIONS & MONSTERS, but that’s not the whole story. SUPERMAN was huge last year, and her cameo landed fine, yet it didn’t translate into interest. The real issue: people had no reason to care. Maybe MAN OF TOMORROW should’ve come first, build her alongside Superman before a solo film. Instead, DC gave her one cameo and hoped that was enough. It wasn’t. This might be what superhero fatigue actually is, not the genre, but characters audiences were never given a reason to invest in.

@vaughanilla_cos Don’t get me wrong I liked the Snyder DC movies but also really like Gunn’s DCU. Snyder bros need to let it go but it also doesn’t help that Snyder eggs it on for his own ego, constantly posting pictures of Superman because he has nothing else going on is wild work…

I don’t think there’s a director in history with a worse fanbase than Zack Snyder’s.

@mjarbo I agree, his approach of just approving scripts and then letting the directors do their own thing obviously doesn't work, he has a vision for the DCU and he needs to make sure every movie is meeting the standards of that vision. I honestly hope he directs Batman after MOT

Forbes is saying that despite SUPERGIRL falling off a cliff in its second weekend, DC should not fire James Gunn. Paul Tassi is right. Firing Gunn right now would be a panic move, and DC has spent the better part of two decades making panic moves. That does not mean you ignore what just happened. It means you learn from it. The biggest lesson from SUPERGIRL is not that Gunn should step away. It is that he needs to be even more involved. The DCU does not need James Gunn approving scripts from a distance. It needs James Gunn shaping them. Treat this universe like a television show. Gunn is the showrunner. Writers pitch ideas, collaborate on the scripts, and Gunn gives every project the final creative pass before cameras roll. Marvel did not become Marvel by accident. It became a production pipeline with strong creative oversight. If DC wants to compete at that level, it needs the same discipline. James Gunn’s biggest talent has always been taking characters nobody cared about and making audiences love them. Build the DCU around that strength.

@sophiebluejays Nobody cheated, Fifa just can't seem to follow their own rule book or stay consistent, either send everything to VAR for decisions or don't do it at all. The referee didn't even call it until someone else told him to review the replay which is stupid...
