House Republicans just ripped $650,000 away from the Copper Queen Library in Bisbee — money meant for basic repairs — because the library hosted two drag shows. This library hosts HUNDREDS of community events a year. Punishing an entire community over culture war nonsense is pathetic. Public libraries belong to all of us, not just the far-right politicians throwing tantrums over drag queens.
