@timwig Great concept in theory. Challenge is counties releasing the non England players, & also the risk those players become less attractive to recruit. It could re create the Ireland conundrum again & regularly associate nations find themselves half strength in an English summer

Difficult & disappointing time @SussexCCC as 25 years of steady progression (with a few ups & downs on way) disrupted by some poor decisions & poor judgements. On the plus side, things are rarely as bad as they seem & from this adversity, a new catalyst of energy may emerge 🏏

@huwzat @Nat038Smith Minor correction, Spen Cama legacy invested in ground improvements from 2009 to 2012 - new floodlights, pavilion refurb, new South West stand, revamped South Stand, new hospitality facilities. Prior to that, interest earnt was used to support running costs

@ThamesValleyCL If it has achieved little, players & clubs need to look at themselves as to how slow over rates killed the time gained. 12 30 is fine as still allows colts time in morning and a 7pm finish (even for 45 overs)
