i never thought it would get to this but let me clear some things.. i got a few dms like why didn’t you support iranian artists with that money or why are you spending on art in this situation? first of all i can’t even afford a 2.5 eth piece right now. nobody needs that money more than me and my family. i haven’t worked for 3 months, i can’t remember the last time i sold my artwroks. almost 2 months of 2026 we didn't have ACCESS TO INTERNET im pretty sure no one can understand what that means.. in all this time i never asked anyone for help. didn’t ask for money. didn’t even try to sell my work. whenever i got a weak connection i just came here to say what’s going on or how i feel.. i didn't wanted to sent those personal tweets about my life in past month but whats going on in my life wasnt normal! you really have no idea what i went through! trust me you cant even imagine!!! it wasnt about engagements the fuck do i need engagement farming right now!? losing my mom, talking about it, hearing bombs near my place… having no one to talk to, a relationship ending in the middle of all this and the war… that’s not engagement farming. that’s my life! about the auction: i always wanted a mendez 1/1 but every time i pushed myself to get one, i couldn’t.. 2 days ago i was ready to place an early bid to secure the BE. i really didn’t want to lose it. i love mendez artworks, i have almost a full set of his BE, his last LE drop, and some rare ones. but i couldn’t get online .. next day i finally got access. i was actually trying to move my eth from ledger to MM, to buy a car next month in case things get worse and we have to leave again. then i saw the auction still running for 24hrs. price was already out of my range, but i had that eth there... so i didn’t think much and placed the bid. thinking that at least i can secure the BE and complete my set i didn’t plan to spend 2.5 eth on art today but i did, and now i finally have a mendez 1/1 and im happy for it. but after i got those dms i feel i did something terrible! ppl who actually know me IRL they know what i did and do for iranian artists and our community please stop judging for collecting art today..

I shared a post recently speaking up about how hard is to keep it up in just a bubble that seems not only to be faced by hypocrisy but also by specific issues of interest. The vibes are no longer the same and even if we wanted to keep “grinding” is no longer easy to make it happen when you’re surrounded by so much things that not depends on you but on others. Shutting down the external noise and connecting back into the meaningful things for you is the best way to go from my personal perspective. ❤️‍🩹

I can feel what you mean 🥹🫂 there is a lot of noise here, attention shifts so quickly 😮‍💨 I was thinking about books and movies recently. When we watch a film or read a book, we devote ourselves to that for at least 1,5 -2 h. And maybe in the end we take away only 1 idea, that could be written in 1 sentence. Now imagine you had 100s of those ‘idea sentences’, you could read them all in 20 min. It still would not mean much. We would not truly feel the essence, nothing in our life would change But when we sit with one movie for 2h, we begin to feel idea, think more deeply, compare it to our own life... our brain needs focus, soul needs to feel ✨ so what is different about artwork or person thoughts? they need time to live through 🫠 Still I believe in this space ☺️ there are many sincere people here who truly pay attention, care and feel deeply. And you are definitely one of them ❤️🙏

@NaylasyarifaM Depends what you consider "Support" -- there are many forms~ I think it's sad 'some' artists feel that the only REAL SUPPORT is a sale/purchase. Money doesn't fall from the sky so buying isn't always feasible. But interest, advice, discourse -- this is all Support as well~

Oh Charles, don’t even get me started 😅 I literally felt this myself. My post about the sale pushed me way up, and today I shared a new artwork announcement… and silence. Meanwhile the whole space was buzzing yesterday over that 5 ETH sale. It’s honestly really hard to stay emotionally steady here. I’m holding on mostly by focusing on my own path and the support from people like you 🖤
