@CrisClaridge2 One of the pipes underneath Thurlow Street has a leak. Council had to apply for a Traffic Management Order to dig up the road. Welders have just finished a temporary repair tonight, boilers now on low fire and being checked at 8am and if all ok will be put on high temp.
For all residents affected by the current heating and hot water outage on the Aylesbury we have arranged for use of the showers at the Castle leisure centre. Just being along proof of address to the reception.
@steviecryan Your response addresses my question. I understand that the situation can't be resolved over night but surely the vulnerable people living in the flats should not have been left there. Additional heating leads to additional costs. What lessons have been learned from this?
