This double standard cost us vital points in a tight top-four race. Furthermore, the Burnley fixture on January 7, 2026, was defined by two catastrophic failures. First, the disallowed Lisandro Martínez goal, which the KMI Panel has since confirmed was a legitimate goal that should have stood. Second, the failure to issue a red card for a violent stamp on Patrick Dorgu’s leg, an oversight that compromised both the match result and player safety. The points lost due to these confirmed errors are the difference between a secure UCL spot and our current precarious position. We request an immediate review of Mr. Attwell’s future assignments involving Manchester United to ensure a level playing field for the remainder of the campaign.
