We're aiming to be the best platform for football as an esport. Regarding broken mechanics, we explain here how we fixed input lag by building our netcode from scratch: youtube.com/playlist?list=… and how we fixed a few other things. And yes, you are in full control of attack and defense. While there's a second-press mechanic, the AI won't bail you out. You have to actively position your players, close spaces, and read the game to intercept passes. If you want a clean sheet, you have to earn it.

@PlayGOALS This is promising. In your vision are you trying to make a game more suitable for esports or for casuals? If it is esports how do you plan to fix broken mechanics? What is your plan to balance the game? How do tactics works? Can we control how to defend and attack?

If you stop playing for a months, your team will be like it was the last week you played. Because aging is tied to active play, not real time. We are definitely not sitting back and relaxing after launch on July 4th. Launch day is just the foundation. We are fully committed to continuously expanding the game with new modes, features, and content. We’re in this for the long run.

@PlayGOALS @WagnerSanches8 Players having to grind to keep their head above water and stop their team from declining isn't going to go the way you think. Also, whilst I enjoy the gameplay, it needs modes and content to survive long term no matter how good the gameplay is, this isn't 2012 anymore sadly.

We aren't building a static game. Your players in GOALS will evolve, hit their prime, and eventually retire based on your playtime. You’ll always be building and refining your legacy. Paired with an esports-ready gameplay, the game never stops. Full progression video coming shortly!
